I am really impressed with your latest learning log challenge to create something related to nocturnal animals. I was really impressed with the way this child chose to draw detailed illustrations as well as writing different facts about some animals who are nocturnal. 

I cannot wait to see what you all bring in.

Your latest purple mash challenge!

Well it's nearly time for half term Dosbarth Melyn, but to keep your brains busy I'd like you to have a go at creating an information booklet all about nocturnal animals as this will be our new topic when you come back to school. To find it follow these simple instructions. 

1). Log onto the internet and our school website at www.stgwladysbargoed.com

2). Clock on the purple mash icon at the bottom of the screen.

3). Search 'nocturnal' and then click on ' information about nocturnal animals'.

4). Create your amazing information booklet.

I cannot wait to see what amazing creations you come up with already. There will be a special treat for those who complete this challenge.

The story of St. David

Today we worked very hard in Dosbarth Melyn to learn all about our patron Saint of Wales, St. David. We sequenced the story in the correct order to help us make our very own storyboards. You produced some fantastic pieces of writing today. I am very proud.

We found some ice!

This morning we found some ice as it had snowed last night. We started to notice that it was melting. This was because our hands were warm. We know that when some solids become warm they turn into a liquid. 

We love reading everyday!

At the end of today we chose a fantastic book to read. It was called Spookyrumpus. Here we all are pulling our scariest faces!
